Adira Dinamika Multifinance books 2015 net profit of Rp665b
Adira Dinamika Multifinance (ADMF) reported 2015 net profit of Rp665b, down 16% yoy from 2014’s Rp792b. Management attributed the weak performance to slow motorcycle and car sales dragged by weak customer purchasing power. New bookings also dropped 20% yoy to Rp18.6t. However, management is targeting to achieve new bookings of Rp36t in 2016, up 30% yoy. The company has budgeted capex for 2016 at Rp7.0t, out of which Rp5.0t will be funded by a bond issuance and the remainder will come from foreign currency bank loans.
Higher food prices in Chinese New Year
Those stocking up on popular Chinese New Year food items in Singapore such as bak kwa and fish are feeling an extra pinch in their wallets this year, compared with the same festive period last year, with the Chinese silver pomfret seeing a 40% additional jump. At the market, the price for the Chinese silver pomfret has gone up from S$80 per kg — a common quoting price this time last year — to breach the S$100 mark. Some fish vendors even expect the price of the seafood to go as high as S$150 per kg as Chinese New Year approaches. It usually goes for about S$50 a kg during the off-peak period.
HSBC to transfer business to Singapore entity

Tax Amnesty expect Rp60t receipts
In the proposed regulation regarding tax amnesty, the Indonesian government is proposing a lower tariff for those that repatriated the capital from overseas. The tariff is 2%, 3% and 5% of net asset reported in 1Q16, 2Q16 and 2H16 respectively. The government expects receipt from tax amnesty to reach Rp60t, which assumes a 3% multiple of inflow of overseas funds of about Rp2,000t. This tax amnesty law is attempting to lure funds from underground economy like illegal trading, illegal logging, illegal fishing and illegal mining. The tax department estimates the state lost about Rp263t per year from this underground economy.
