ANZ Indonesia Profit Rises in 2014 Amid Higher Lending
Jakarta. ANZ Indonesia, the local unit of Melbourne-based Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, posted higher profit last year as income from interest rose amid an increase in lending.
Net income rose 7.7 percent to Rp 830 billion ($64 million) in 2014, from Rp 766 billion in the previous year, according to the lender’s statement published on Tuesday.
ANZ Indonesia’s net interest income rose 8.7 percent to Rp 2.1 trillion. The lender disbursed Rp 25 trillion in loans last year, up 15 percent from Rp 21.9 trillion in 2013.
