Child Protection Commission to Meet Police Over Kelapa Gading Forced Labor
Jakarta. Indonesia’s child protection commission, the KPAI, will meet with the National Police and witness protection program, known as the LPSK, next week to oversee the completion of a forced labor case in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
“In the interests of completing this case,the KPAI together with the LPSK will meet National Police officials on Monday,” KPAI chairman Asrorun Ni’am Sholeh said on Saturday.
The police has named W.U, G.U. and Y as suspects for recruiting victims in Kelapa Gading. They were arrested in Bogor, West Java.
The KPAI began investigating the case on March 2 after receiving a receiving a complaint into the investigation.
