On 15 November 2023, the ‘EV Outlook for Indonesia: Future Reality or Myth’ embarked on a comprehensive exploration of the dynamic realm of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia. Our speakers led our audience on a journey of in-depth investigation into the present landscape of EV advancement in Indonesia, encompassing government policies, automotive industry insights, and consumer perspectives.

A wonderful Q&A session lasting nearly an hour ignited the room, as our diverse audience, representing a wide spectrum of industries, posed questions, offered comments, and provided feedback, solidifying the fervent interest in this topic.

The topic presentation was given by Nicolas Meyer, Managing Director & Partner Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The event focused on “Electric Vehicles in Indonesia’ and included a discussion panel with Nicolas and three other leading representatives from the automotive industry, Kukuh Kumara, Secretary General Gaikindo; Aditya Siregar, Media Director Cintamobil.com; and last but not least Joel CY Chang, Group CEO Charged Indonesia. The panel was moderated by our own Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia council member Damien Lim.
