A global leader with international exposure spanning a professional life including practicing lawyer and trusted advisor to clients and boards in Singapore and Indonesia. Noor is a member of the Singapore Bar and has a Masters’s degree in Comparative Legal Systems from the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS).
Noor’s corporate and transactional experience and practice in Indonesia includes representing multinational businesses in their Indonesian investments as well as having set up and managed collaborations between Indonesian and international firms in Jakarta advising on infrastructure development, regulatory matters, complex transactional structuring, and dispute resolution management.
Noor is highly valued for her deep understanding of, and involvement in, Indonesian and international business and industry groupings and for her social impact activities focussing on education and the betterment of communities for women and children.

He was the founding editor of the award-winning Jakarta Globe daily newspaper in Indonesia from 2008 to 2012. His career as a journalist and editor in Asia began in the Philippines as a radio correspondent for NBC News in the 1980s. He was later the Executive Editor of the Hong Kong Standard and the Editor-in-Chief of the JoongAng Daily in Seoul. He has consulted for numerous development agencies and private companies. He also has won numerous awards for excellence as an editor and reporter and was the co-founder, in 1998, of the Southeast Asian Press Alliance (SEAPA), a regional press advocacy NGO based in Bangkok. He was the host of the daily ‘Insight Indonesia’ TV talk show on BeritaSatu in Jakarta from 2011-2012.
