What is SCCI?
Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia
- The only Indonesia-wide business chamber representing the Singaporean business community in Indonesia with the Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia as its patron.
- Officially inaugurated on 18 May 2006 in Jakarta by Indonesian Minister of Trade Ms Mari Elka Pangestu and then-Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Edward Lee.
- SCCI aims to promote cooperation among business people in both countries through various networking activities, events and dissemination of useful information for its members.
FREE Membership Entrance Fee for Signing Up at SG National Day Reception
Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (SCCI) offers a free membership entrance fee for those who sign up at Singapore National Day Reception in Jakarta.
The reception will be held in the evening on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Grand Ballroom Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta.
There are two types of membership at SCCI: (1) Individual Member, (2) Corporate Member.
The Individual Member pays entrance fee Rp 500.000,- and annual membership fee Rp 1.000.000,-
The Corporate Member pays entrance fee Rp 1.000.000,- and annual membership fee Rp 5.000.000,-
How to Become a Member:
- Fill the application form & attach business card(s).
- Wait for an invoice and transfer the funds to SCCI bank account.
- Confirm the payment & attach proof of transfer by sending it to info@singchamindonesia.com

Jan – Mar 2019 SCCI Event Highlights
The Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia had three events and an Annual General Meeting during January – March 2019.

SCCI Welcome 2019 Business Dinner, 21 January 2019 at The UOB Plaza, Jakarta.
The event was attended by Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Anil Kumar Nayar, President Director of UOB Indonesia Kevin Lam, business communities, business students from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore.

SCCI Election Talk, One-on-One with Muhammad Lutfi – designated spokesperson of Jokowi – Amin camp., 27 February 2019 at The Ritz Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta.
This was the first of the two series around the 2019 Indonesian Presidential Elections.
Muhammad Lutfi was presenting Jokowi – Amin’s economic platform, openness to foreign investments, and other related issues.

Changi Airport hits record 65 million passengers in 2018
Changi Airport saw a record 65.6 million passenger movements in 2018, Changi Airport Group (CAG) said in a news release on Tuesday (Jan 29).
This figure beats 2017’s record of 60 million passengers with a 5.5 per cent increase.
Of the total passenger movements, 6.13 million passengers travelled through Changi Airport in December alone, making it the first month the airport saw passenger numbers exceed 6 million.
The Friday before Christmas, Dec 21, proved to be the busiest day of the year with a record 221,155 passengers movements.

SCCI welcomed 2019 with Singapore’s Ambassador

On Monday, 21 January, the SCCI welcomed 2019 with a “Business Gathering” at the UOB Penthouse, Jakarta. It was a festive event attended by members and friends of SCCI as well as representatives of other business chambers in Jakarta.
SCCI chairperson, Noor Meurling opened the event with a welcoming address. Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Anil Kumar Nayar delivered the opening address. Kevin Lam, President Director of UOB Indonesia, delivered the keynote address on the economic outlook for Indonesia addressing questions and comments on the subject.

Special guests at the event included engineering and business students from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore on a study trip to Indonesia and, entrepreneurs and business visitors from Singapore.
